UNESCO/ISEDC Offering 20 Fellowships for Four Weeks Training (in the field of
energy and sustainable development)

The United
Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO)
International Center for Sustainable Energy Development (ISEDC) in Moscow has
announced 20 fellowships for four weeks duration. The fellowship aims to
enhance the capacity-building and human resources development in the area of
sustainable and renewable energy sources in developing countries and countries
in transition.
The four
weeks training will be held in the Russian Federation specialized institutions
from 6-31 October 2014.

The
fellowship includes tuition fees exempt, and US$800 (a month) stipend to cover
accommodation, meals, pocket expenses and incidentals.
Eligibility
Criteria:
Applicants must be from 46 Member States from Africa, 15 Member States from Arab States, 39 Member States from Asia and the Pacific, 32 Member States from Latin America and the Caribbean, 22 Member States from Europe, and Tokelau, the Associate Member State.
Applicants must hold at least a BSc degree or BA in Economics.
Applicants must be proficient in English language.
Applicants can be maximum 25 years of age at the time of application.
Applications should be endorsed by the National Commission for UNESCO and must be duly completed in English or French language.
Complete application includes- completed UNESCO fellowship application form, six photographs, certified photocopies of Diplomas, and certificate of English Language Proficiency.
