Pétition Contre la Fracturation Hydraulique (ou "Fracking") au Maroc

Après l'annonce de la découverte de grandes réserves de gaz de schiste au Maroc, les avis diffèrent entre optimisme et appréhension.
Une pétition lancée dernièrement invite à beaucoup de précaution quant à la manière avec laquelle ces ressources énergétiques vont être exploitées; en effet, la fracturation hydraulique, connue aussi sous le nom de "fracking" cause une polémique internationale quant à ses enjeux et son grand danger sur l'environnemment.

Australia Awards Scholarships and Fellowships in Africa - Morocco

Since 2012, Moroccan nationals have been eligible to participate in Australia Awards.  Applicants from Morocco are eligible for two types of awards: Masters awards under Australia Awards Scholarships and short course training under Australia Awards Africa Fellowships.

Australia Awards Scholarships (Masters level)
Priority areas are:
·         Agriculture/Food Security
·         Natural Resource Management
·         Public Policy

Australia Awards (Fellowships)
Priority areas are:
·          Agriculture/Food Security (Soil and Water Conservation Agriculture, Post-Harvest Management and Livestock)
·          Mining (Managing Social and Environmental Impacts of Mining, Geospatial Information Systems and            Mining Resources: Regulation and Revenue Management)
·          Public Policy (Diplomacy)

DFID, ACU and AAS Launch £4.85 million Climate Impacts Research Capacity Building Programme in Africa

The African Academy of Sciences (AAS) and the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) are pleased to invite you and/or your institution to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for a new fellowship scheme and institutional capacity strengthening programme that will enhance research into the impacts of climate change.

The GBP 4.8m programme titled, Climate Impacts Research Capacity and Leadership Enhancement (CIRCLE), is funded by the UK government and will strengthen both institutional and individual research capacity.  It will fund maximum one-year fellowships for 60 post-Doctoral and 40 post-MSc researchers and concurrently run a programme for strengthening institutional research management and support for early career academics. The fellowships will cover the full cost of a one-year placement at another (host) African institution and will commence in 2014. Full implementation of the programme will be contingent on sufficient interest and commitment being expressed by African institutions to host and nominate fellows and a large enough pool of eligible fellows.

Les équipes et/ou laboratoires de recherche intéressés devront retirer le cahier des charges relatif à l'appel à projets auprès du CNRST, sis angle Av Allal El Fassi, Av des FAR, Quartier Hay Riad, 10102 – Rabat ou sur les sites électroniques www.enssup.gov.mawww.cnr.ac.mawww.dfc.gov.ma. La date limite de dépôt des projets de recherche au CNRST est fixée au 22 novembre 2013. Une version électronique doit être également transmise au plus tard le 22 novembre 2013 à l'adresse suivante : projets.recherche@cnrst.ma.
